a) Avoid using cosmetic nail varnish for the duration of treatmentb) Keep nails trimmed short and filed down.c) Avoid sharing toenail clippers with family members.d) Wear well-fitting non-occlusive shoes, without high heels or narrow toes. Consider replacing old footwear which could be contaminated with fungal spores.e) Wear cotton, absorbent socks.f) Maintain good foot hygieneg) Wear protective footwear when using communal bathing places, locker rooms, and gymnasiums, to avoid re-exposure.h) Avoid prolonged or frequent exposure to warm, damp conditions if possible.i) Avoid trauma to the nails ifpossible.j) Seek medical attention if condition worsens while using amorolfine nail lacquer or no improvement of nails after a period of 3 months treatment
